Busted Ceramics @ Nube
Bring a pal and come sculpt a set for Planned Parenthood!
Come make a your own boobie pot with Busted Ceramics artist Kelsey Malone. Model your boob pot after yourself, a pal, or your dream set! There will also be extra clay (for those of you who want to make a second project!). Kelsey's done the tough part and made the base shape of the pot (to make sure it will work, structurally) and the class will allow us to customize the boobs and form! Kelsey will glaze the pots in her studio, and return them to the store by August 30th, for pick up. We'll provide a few cocktails (and non-alcoholic beverages) and proceeds from the event will be donated directly to Planned Parenthood.
We'll be selling a limited number of tickets to keep it mellow and ensure a comfortable class size. Tickets will be $55/person and cover the cost of all instruction, materials, firing and glazing, and drinks (to give it some context, a Busted Vase usually sells for $30-$50, so this is an amazing deal)!

About the Artist:
Kelsey began making pinch pots and ceramic jewelry in high school. During a trip to Los Angeles, she came across a line of boob ceramics that came in one size, shape, and shade. The pieces were incredibly popular, but made little social impact. Inspired to give women of all shapes and sizes a platform, as well as utilize boobie popularity to support Planned Parenthood, Kelsey returned to Seattle and started to make her own ceramic busts. After her graduation, Busted Ceramics was in full swing. The palettes and styles have evolved overtime, but ensuring that each piece is one of kind and supports women's rights remains the core of Busted Ceramics.
